For the gîte : If you have booked your stay via Booking (in the important information section) or directly through the jo-mel website, a refundable security deposit of €400 must be paid no later than 3 days before your arrival.

  • Cleaning

  • Bed linen kit : Alternatively, you may bring your own sheets. Please refer to the previous question “How many beds and which sheet kits are needed in each accommodation?” to make sure you bring the right ones.

Change the bag once a day or when it is ¾ full, and bring it with the bucket to the compost area near the parking lot.

We provide biodegradable and compostable bags, toilet paper, and sawdust.

Composting toilets are only used in the yurts and the pond-side tiny house!

  • Yurt: Composting toilets are located in the sanitary block → private and heated, outside the accommodation.

  • The gîte is equipped with a standard flushing toilet.

Bed linen and towels for this accommodation are automatically included in the booking (only for the Loveroom tiny house!).

TINY HOUSE ORIGIN — 1 double bed, 1 single bed (up to 3 guests)

Two cabins / trapper huts are also available at the pond. Same configuration for both unique accommodations:

For all accommodations at the pond (except the Loveroom): bed linen is optional

  • Tiny House – Pond: Water & Electricity

    Water:
    No drinking water on site. Please bring bottled water for drinking and cooking. Running water is available for the sink and shower, sourced from filtered rainwater, but it is not potable.

    Electricity:
    Solar-powered, suitable for basic needs (lighting, USB port, small devices such as phone or power bank).

    Chalet – Pond: Water & Lighting

    Running water:
    No drinking water on site. Don’t forget to bring bottled water for your needs. Solar camping shower provided.

    Lighting:
    Lit with candles and rechargeable lamps provided. A cosy and relaxing atmosphere guaranteed!

  • Fishing is allowed (catch-and-release only, with bait or rod)

  • Swimming is not allowed

A rowboat is available for all guests. It’s located at the event space and can be used to explore the pond. Please return and secure it after each use.
Children must be supervised by an adult. Use of the boat is your responsibility — do not use it if you can’t swim.

For the tiny houses and chalets at the pond: The lock and gate codes will be sent to you by message a few days before your arrival, via SMS or WhatsApp.

Tent campers and van guests: The information will be sent to you by message a few days before your arrival, via SMS or WhatsApp.

Power comes from solar energy and depends on the amount of sunlight during the day.

It has an on/off button to power water for washing dishes or using the outdoor shower.

❌ The chalets do NOT. Two solutions:

  • Heat water in a saucepan on the gas stove
  • Use the solar shower provided at the chalet. For the tiny house, it is located underneath the unit: fill it with cold water and leave it in the sun on the terrace so it can be used in the shower area.
